SINGLE ENTRY BUSINESS AND PRIVATE VISAS

In order to apply for Kazakhstan single entry business and private visas, you will need to provide the following documents:
1.  A letter with a request to issue a visa addressed to the Consulate General of Kazakhstan, indicating the purpose of your trip, your contact in Kazakhstan, the dates of your planned trip, and all cities to be visited.
2.   A completed visa application (PDF document, Word document) (one per person). Be sure to complete all the fields or your application could be denied.
3.   Your original and valid passport, with at least one blank page for a visa. Your passport must be valid for at least six months longer than the terms of the requested visa. For example if requesting a one month visa, your passport must not expire for at least seven months.
4. The photocopy of the picture page of passport.
5.   One passport size photo of the applicant.
6. A Money Order made payable to the Consulate General of Kazakhstan - we DO NOT accept cash, company or personal checks.
7. In order to receive your passport back please provide with the United States Postal Service (USPS) envelope only. Please note that the envelope must be pre-paid and self-addressed. For your convenience it is recommended to keep a tracking number of the return package so you can check the delivery status with USPS after five working days since the arrival of your request to the Consulate General. The Consulate will not accept any other type of mail (Do not send FedEx, UPS, DHL and other envelopes).
The Consulate General does not assume any liability for the loss of documents submitted or returned by regular mail.

Note: Applicants who are applying for their minor children must present additionally:

- a letter with a request to issue a visa addressed to the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in New York. Please indicate the purpose of your trip, your contacts in Kazakhstan including their name and address, the dates of your planned trip, and places to be visited;

- a copy of the parents' passports;

- a copy of the child's birth certificate;

- a letter from one of the child's parents stating non-objection to the child's other parent taking him or her to Kazakhstan.

NOTE: All foreign citizens must register at the local Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan or at the hotel within 72 hours upon arrival to Kazakhstan. Otherwise they will be fined by the Immigration Service on departure.

 

 
Гражданам США – выходцам из Республики Казахстан
могут выдаваться частные визы (private) сроком до трех месяцев для посещения родных мест и могил родственников на основании их личных обращений (без посредничества туркомпаний) и подтверждающих документов, таких как графа в паспорте, свидетельство о рождении в Республике Казахстан или копии документа о захоронении близкого родственника в РК, либо справки о выходе из казахстанского гражданства.
Если Вы направляетесь в РК впервые после получения гражданства США, то Вам необходимо оформить утрату гражданства РК(см. раздел утрата гражданства).
